Two releases of Jean Sibelius' tone poem, "The Swan of Tuonela"

In 1992, Sony Classical released the Los Angeles Philharmonic's recording (SK 48 067) of Jean Sibelius' "Lemminkäinen Legends, Op. 22", conducted by Music Director, Esa-Pekka Salonen.  I was the English Horn soloist in "The Swan of Tuonela", the third of the four movements.  The CD also contains an earlier tone poem, "En Saga, op. 9".  It remains available for purchase from Amazon and other record stores.  At amazon.com, go to classical music.  In the search box, type "Sibelius - Los Angeles Philharmonic" and it should be listed.  The recording can also be found by typing "Esa-Pekka Salonen, Sibelius, Los Angeles Philharmonic" in the search box.

I recently discovered that this same recording of "The Swan of Tuonela" was also released by Sony BMG in 1995 on a CD entitled "Greatest Hits: Sibelius".  It is available for purchase as a CD from Amazon. It is also available on iTunes, either as single tracks or as an entire album.  Go to iTunes, type in my name in the search box it will appear along with my other recordings.
