2016 International Double Reed Conference

Mon, May 30th, 2016 12:00:00 am

I will be performing and teaching an English Horn Master Class at the 2016 International Double Reed Conference that will be held June 26-30 at the Schwob School of Music, Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia.

On Wednesday evening, June 29th, I will perform the IDRS premiere of "Chrysalis" for English Horn and piano by American composer, Alyssa Morris. In 2014, I commissioned Ms. Morris to write a work for me and the result is a marvelous and very creative piece of music. On Monday morning, June 27th, I will teach an English Horn Master Class focusing on several major works in the orchestral repertoire.
